WHITEHALL, Wis. — Walter V. Flickinger, 69, of Blair, Wis., formerly of Whitehall died Wednesday, Sept. 20, 2006, at Grand View Care Center in Blair. Memorial services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Jack Funeral Home in Whitehall. Friends may call one hour prior to the service.

When you saw an aqua-blue 1931 Ford A 400 convertible in a parade or on the highway, you knew Bob Edwards was enjoying the ride. "He owned it about 30 years and won lots of blue ribbons for it at antique car conventions. He loved it so very much," said Mr. Edwards' wife of 53 years, Mary Lee Edwards. Robert E. Edwards, of Taylor Mill, died Tuesday at St. Luke Hospital West in Florence. He was 73.
